After weeks of discussions regarding Pint Sized singer Anthony Callea's sexuality, he has finally admitted he is gay.
In an
interview yesterday he talks about his sexuality and his
difficulty in growing up gay and Italian in Australia. I was really interested to read that he talks about going to a psychologist to address his
depression stemming from dealing with his sexuality.
He also says that he is disappointed that he denied he was gay a few years ago in interviews, but was pushed into it by his 'minders' to give him a better chance of winning the Australian Idol competition.
As I said in my previous post I would wait to see whether he uses this as a way to help other guys and girls coming out and addressing their sexuality.
Congratulations to Anthony for coming out and I hope that he now puts his name to something great that will help the community and teens!
